Muslim Charity and Community Development Projects

As an independent charity,The British Muslim welfare society’s Community Development Service offers support to the development of community based projects in partnership with other organisations and charities. We support vulnerable and marginalised people through the provision of refuge, hospitality and basic foods and clothing in partnership with other organisations and charities

This service supports local groups in the creation of local responses to local issues. In particular the Service Manager worked closely with Local community groups, and with religious orders to support initiatives that address poverty and disadvantage.

A key strategy is project development under the umbrella of BMW society - using our charitable status, retaining where possible the employment aspect of a project.
We at BMW society we follow our guideline and deliver all our projects to community at large and all poor and needy at home and abroad

Care ;Expressed in professional commitment for children, families and communities where individuals face disadvantage, experience unhappiness, social isolation, insecurity and a lack of identity or belonging.

Community - brought about by valuing the individual and their connectivity with others through relationships that teach individuals to value each other and where necessary take action together for the common good.

Compassion - for people who experience poverty and disadvantage. Our mission directs us through sharia and holy book Quran – all our charitable action based on love - to improve the physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing of people we work with.

Dignity - the intrinsic right of every person to enjoy freedoms, choices and respect. We will offer support to fulfil each persons potential through positive change.

Equity - opportunity for all people to be part of an inclusive and diverse organisation that celebrates difference and creates relationships of mutual respect. Our services are delivered without favour or discrimination. Access to services is determined by need.

Family - we believe that it is within the family that a child can enjoy the fullness of childhood and be nurtured to full appreciation of human life. We strive to create an environment of constant warmth, predictability and responsiveness to need, from where young people can be prepared and supported for independent living.

Justice - we aim to be fair and just in all our dealings with people; those using services and those in our employ or who work as volunteers.

Solidarity - we will work alongside beneficiaries and other partners and service providers to improve services to best meet the needs of the people we work with.
Stewardship - through responsible, open and accountable working practices, as well as systematic monitoring and evaluation of the positive difference our work makes to the lives of others.Welcome to  our site website
